Decisions get made because of time and resources. We justify our decisions with a fall-back on ‘expertise’ badges, to validate our decisions. We use badges so others can agree without question. Here’s the common terms used: ‘I’m in charge’ ‘I know best’ ‘I’m qualified’ ‘I’m a lord, I’m a judge, I’m a leader. The money we’re paid and the status awarded to us – are all confirmation loops. We believe we’re more important, more intelligent and therefore more qualified to make decisions. We all do it. Humans are pattern readers. Humans ARE artificial intelligence.
